Elle Fanning and Renate Reinsve are stepping out for the 2025 New York Film Festival!
The actresses hit the red carpet together at the premiere of their new movie Sentimental Value on Tuesday (September 30) held at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center in New York City.
Fellow cast members in attendance included Stellan Skarsgard, Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas, and Catherine Cohen along with director Joachim Trier.
Keep reading to find out more…Here’s the synopsis: “Sisters Nora and Agnes reunite with their estranged father, the charismatic Gustav, a once-renowned director who offers stage actress Nora a role in what he hopes will be his comeback film. When Nora turns it down, she soon discovers he has given her part to an eager young Hollywood star. Suddenly, the two sisters must navigate their complicated relationship with their father — and deal with an American star dropped right into the middle of their complex family dynamics.”
The movie had its world premiere at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival back in May and it won the Grand Prix award. The film will be Norway’s entry for Best International Feature Film at the 2026 Oscars.
Sentimental Value hits theaters on November 7.
