The upcoming season will feature seven episodes, with Ty Pennington back at the helm!

While the competition previously saw teams of HGTV stars going up against each other, this time will feature an HGTV star teaming up with a celebrity to compete.

The new season will be in Las Vegas “for the biggest gamble yet when it pairs its top stars with celebrities who share a passion for design,” where four “unexpected duos with big ideas and even bigger personalities as they battle in an epic renovation showdown. With the stakes at an all-time high, only one team will hit the jackpot, winning bragging rights and a street named in their honor.”

This season’s pairings are as follows: Renovation Resort Showdown‘s Scott McGillivray with singer, TV personality and design firm owner Brooke Hogan; Battle on the Beach‘s Taniya Nayak with 98 Degrees singer Drew Lachey; Good BonesMina Starsiak Hawk with Super Bowl champ Vernon Davis; and Why the Heck Did I Buy This House? star Kim Wolfe with fellow Survivor alum and close friend Chelsea Meissner.

Throughout the seven episodes, the teams will “have just six weeks and a budget of $275,000 to transform the identical cul-de-sac builds boasting one-level living with private courtyards, multi-generational suites and RV garages into luxurious Sin City homes that reflect their signature vision and stunning design style.”

Rock the Block is a standout performer on HGTV’s slate, attracting millions in our key demos and holding the #1 spot on the network for four years straight,” Howard Lee, Chief Creative Officer, US Networks, Warner Bros. Discovery, said in a statement. “And we find new ways to amp up the competition, the drama and the fun every season, so we know our fans will keep coming back.”

Rock the Block season seven will premiere in early 2026.
