An interview that Keith Urban gave on September 2 is going viral amid his breakup with longtime wife Nicole Kidman.
We now know that Keith signed his divorce documents just days before the interview and it explains why he was seemingly uncomfortable by questions about Nicole.

While speaking with Australian radio program Gold 101.7’s Jonesy & Amanda, Keith was asked about meeting Nicole at an event two decades ago.
“If you hadn’t both been there that day, would your paths somewhere have inevitably crossed? Or maybe this incredible life story wouldn’t have happened,” cohost Amanda Keller asked.
Keith replied, “No, I think it would.” He was then asked if he believes in fate and he replied, “No idea.”
Amanda continued, “I just often think that. That if you weren’t at that event, maybe you don’t have the same friendship group, it may never have happened.”
Keith looked visibly uncomfortable with the questions and responded, “You never know. Anyway, moving on.”
The radio program shared the interview again on September 30, one day after news broke about Nicole and Keith‘s split.
“Prior to this, Keith Urban loved chatting about Nicole Kidman with us! He encouraged it, actually. We wish both Nicole and Keith all the best ❤️,” the radio show captioned the post.
The divorce documents have hinted at how long the ex-couple were preparing their split and child custody arrangements.
