The two are calling out Ray J for claiming they’re part of a federal criminal racketeering investigation, via TMZ.
During a recent livestream that’s gone viral, he claimed that he was helping to build a RICO case against the two, claiming it would be worse than the Sean “Diddy” Combs case.
The lawsuit claims that Ray J is “unable to accept the end of his fleeting relationship with Ms. Kardashian over 20 years ago,” and that he’s defamed them for years for personal gain.
It also cites TMZ‘s Tubi documentary United States vs. Sean Combs in the paperwork, in which he said: “If you told me The Kardashians was being charged for racketeering, I might believe it.”
The suit claims “substantial and ongoing harm to their personal and professional reputation.”
The family has a long history: in March 2007, the intimate tapes that Kim and Ray J had made were released to the public by Vivid Entertainment, which kicked off Kim‘s prominence in pop culture.
Ray J recently spoke to being blamed for the death of Whitney Houston as well.
