Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Orlando Withers called out Russell Medical Center over negligence towards son, Jaxon Withers, after he swallowed an unknown object.

Taking to social media, Orlando Withers, revealed he has filed for paperwork to sue Russell Medical Center.

Orlando Withers wrote: “So yesterday, my son Jaxon decided to swallow an unknown object. After noticing him choking and foaming from the mouth. We rushed him to Russell Medical Center.( Such a bad decision)

Once we made it to Russell Medical Center, we told them he swallowed something and we didn’t know what it was. We was told to have a seat someone will be with us soon. That was at 1:05. My son screaming and crying, reaching for his throat the entire time. Me being a father, became upset because I couldn’t stop the pain. As I looked at my watch, it was 3:30. This caucasian family comes in with a kid with a rash, set down 5 minutes and was taking immediately to the back, but my child was still in waiting room gasping for oxygen. I slowly got up and asked the lady what was the hold up and she responded that it’s up to the nurses and doctors on who they call. I explained to her, the family that had just walked in and they took to the back. She replied, they’re busy. I went back to my seat until I couldn’t take it anymore. 4:30 and My son was still gasping for air, so I made the decision to leave and go to another hospital.

We entered Coosa Valley ER in Sylacauga at 5:10 and explained to them what happened, straight to the back we went. They did X-rays and seen the object in his airway. The doctor made the call to have him transported to Children’s Hospital Birmingham.

“Once we got to Children’s Hospital in Birmingham, they took him straight to do their own x rays and seen the object. Made the decision to do a surgery to remove the object, because once again, it was blocking his airways of breathing. After going through the procedure and removing it we made it home at 2:30 this morning.

“Jaxon is doing FINE. But I need everyone name that was on that shift at Russell Medical Center ER. I’m contacting the head person and I’m filing paperwork TODAy.”
