If you’ve watched the new series The Hunting Wives on Netflix, you’re catching one of actor Paul Teal‘s final performances.
The actor plays the pivotal role of Pastor Pete and has a very important story arc throughout the first season. Sadly, Paul passed away in real life last year after finishing work on the show.

TMZ reported last year that Paul was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroendocrine pancreatic cancer back in April 2024. He worked on The Hunting Wives while battling the disease, but he tragically passed at the age of 35 on November 15, 2024.
Paul‘s fiancee Emilia Torello said at the time, “He was the most talented man I’ve ever met. When he set his mind to something, there was no stopping him. He was the most diligent and dedicated person. I truly believed with all of my heart that he would come out the other side of this because of those traits. That’s what makes this loss even more tragic.”
Paul was best known for his first major role, playing Josh Avery on season seven on One Tree Hill.
