During a live earlier this month, Dee Dee shared that she’s “not cool” with Kellita Smith, who played her Aunt Wanda on the comedy series.

“Are me and her cool? No,” she said, via The Shade Room. “Will we ever talk again? Probably not. Will we ever be cool? No. And that’s what it is.”

“I’m talking about the woman that played Bernie‘s wife on the show,” she clarified when someone questioned who she was talking about.

After someone commented trying to get the tea on why they’re not cool anymore, she said, “No, there’s no contact. Y’all are just nosey. No, me and her are not cool. That’s it. I don’t f-ck with her.”

Dee Dee did add that she loves everybody else from the cast, calling out Jeremy Suarez and Camille Winbush by name, who played her siblings on the show, Jordan and Vanessa “Nessa,” respectively.

“Those are damn near like my real siblings,” Dee Dee said, adding that she’d like to work with them again. “It’s just so nostalgic for me to be around them. I love them so much.”

The Bernie Mac Show was loosely based on the comedian’s stand-up acts about his life, and it ran for five seasons on Fox, from 2001 to 2006. The show even won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series in 2002.
