The second eviction of Big Brother 28 just happened and we have all the spoilers from the Thursday, July 23 episode of CBS’ hit reality competition series.
Julie Chen Moonves once again hosted the live eviction episode from the CBS lot in Studio City, California.
Big Brother airs three episodes every week, as well as a new episode of recap show Big Brother Unlocked every other week.
Who won Head of Household for week 2 of Big Brother 28?
Survivor 50‘s Rick Devens won Head of Household for week 2!
If you are not an avid watcher of Big Brother, the HoH has to nominate three houseguests for eviction after winning the honor. Houseguests have chances to talk to the HoH before the nominations happen, but sometimes it just does not go their way.
Who were Rick Devens’ original three nominees for eviction?
At the beginning of the week, Rick Devens nominated Lyric Medeiros, Melody Morris, and Jason de Puy for eviction.
Devens had a plan this week to “backdoor” Rome, which means he would put him on the block as a replacement nominee if someone was removed from the block through a veto win.
Who won the power of veto this week?
Devens also won the power of veto, so he was able to put his plan into motion.
Devens decided to take Lyric off the block and put her boyfriend Rome in her place.
Who won the BB Blockbuster competition?
Right before the eviction every Thursday, there is a competition between the three nominees to give them a final chance at removing themselves from the nomination block.
Jason won the competition and was removed from the block, leaving Rome and Melody as the two nominees.
Who was evicted from Big Brother in week two?
The evicted house guest this week was Rome.
By a vote of 12-1, Rome was evicted from the house.
Surprisingly, his girlfriend Lyric voted to evict him and Taylor voted for him to stay. When he left the house, he decided not to hug anyone and gave Lyric a kiss, professing his love for her.
