Gayle King was one of dozens and dozens of celebrities in attendance at the Spain vs. Argentina World Cup Final match on Sunday (July 19) at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Spain won the match 1-0.
However, her outfit, an all white look, landed her on the worst dressed list from one publication.

Gayle King wore an all-white outfit, but the Daily Mail ranked her as the worst dressed. Others that made the list were Kylie Jenner, Blake Lively, and Winnie Harlow, among others.

Gayle King reacted to being labeled the Worst Dressed Celebrity at the World Cup Final
On CBS Mornings on Tuesday (July 21), Gayle King spoke out about the placement on the list.
“Earlier this week, a publication listed me as the ‘Worst Dressed of the World Cup.’ Now, not only was I on this list, they said I led this list wearing a ‘frumpy white outfit,’ specifically, that I wore a ‘tight, white tank top’ — that was Boston Proper — ‘paired with some wrinkled white sweatpants’ — that was Alice + Olivia, which, by the way, my favorite son, Will, ironed for me. He said the pockets were a little dicey because I don’t know how to iron,” she said.
On other celebs like Kylie, Blake, and Winnie being named, she added, “I think all these women look so great, and since they’ve made best dressed lists in the past, I think I’m in very good company. But I just think this was hilarious.”
“I didn’t realize, Norah [O’Donnell], that the World Cup had become such a fashion show.” Norah O’Donnell, Gayle‘s co-host, gave her opinion: “…I thought you looked very good in that tank top, Gayle.”
