Talk about The Princess Diaries 3 has been ongoing for a while…but star Anne Hathaway just gave a very hopeful update about our favorite Princess of Genovia!
The 43-year-old actress said the film, which is not in production or even pre-production, is “moving in the right direction.”
“I can say I think we had a story breakthrough,” she shared on SiriusXM’s Radio Andy. “I think we are moving in the right direction. The script that we were working on…we kind of had to start over with this new direction, which is not the update I think anybody wants, but we all feel really good that this is gonna be the one.”
If you don’t know, more than two decades after The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement hit theaters, Disney previously confirmed that a third movie in the beloved franchise is moving forward, but there have been few updates.
