Kai Trump is stepping out at an awards show for the very first time.
The 19-year-old aspiring golfer, who is the granddaughter of President Donald Trump, walked the red carpet at the 2026 ESPYs on Wednesday night (July 15) at David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center in New York City.
Kai wore a gold dress and her skin was glowing to match the outfit.
It’s unclear exactly why Kai is at the awards show, but it’s likely due to her desire to play professional golf.
Kai will be playing on the University of Miami women’s golf team in the upcoming 2026-27 season.
Hurricanes coach Janice Olivencia said, “Our team is very welcoming. They trust in us to continue to invite players to the program that will contribute in their own way, to raise the level of this team. In addition to that, we’re very fortunate at Miami to have a plethora of resources and great support systems. This class will certainly have the access our current student athletes have at The U from the minute they get on campus.”
Ahead of her appearance at the event, Kai dropped multiple TikTok videos to show her getting ready.
“Oh my god… I’m in love,” Kai said while unboxing her dress.
