Jacob Elordi is starring in the new trailer for the upcoming thriller movie The Dog Stars.
The 29-year-old stars alongside a stacked cast of Oscar and Emmy award winners and nominees.
Based on the book of the same name by Peter Heller, the film is directed and produced by famed filmmaker Ridley Scott, with a script by Mark L. Smith.
What is The Dog Stars about?
Here’s the official synopsis:
The film tells the story of Hig (Elordi), a young pilot who, together with a military survivalist, Bangley (Josh Brolin), has carved out an efficient but isolated homestead in a brutal post-apocalyptic world. But when Hig receives a mysterious radio transmission, he ventures into the unknown in search of the hope and humanity he still believes exist.

Along with Jacob Elordi and Josh Brolin, the upcoming movie also stars Margaret Qualley, Allison Janney, Benedict Wong, and Guy Pearce.
The Dog Stars is set to hit theaters and IMAX on August 28th.
