The stars are stepping out for a special screen of Olivia Wilde‘s new movie!
Robert Downey Jr, Katie Holmes, Liev Schreiber and wife Taylor were among the many stars that attended a Hamptons screening of A24’s The Invite over the weekend.
Hosted by The Cinema Society, the screening was at the East Hampton Regal UA Cinema with a party following at the Boat House at East Hampton Point.
Based on Cesc Gay‘s Spanish-language film The People Upstairs, The Invite centers on married couple Joe (Seth Rogen) and Angela (Wilde), whose relationship is struggling when they decide to host their mysterious upstairs neighbors, Hawk (Edward Norton) and Pina (Penelope Cruz), for dinner.
According to the official synopsis, “Joe and Angela’s marriage is on thin ice. When they invite their enigmatic upstairs neighbors for a dinner party, the night spirals into unexpected places. Have they reignited the spark or lit the match that burns it all down?”
Directed by Olivia and co-written by Rashida Jones and Will McCormack, The Invite is out in theaters now. Watch the trailer here!
