Britney Spears is hitting back at critics.
The 44-year-old “Gimme More” pop icon spoke out after generating headlines for standing through the moonroof of a black Mercedes SUV in traffic on the 101 Freeway in Los Angeles on Thursday (July 9).
Britney spoke out on Saturday (July 11) on her Instagram to defend herself amid criticism of her behavior.

In the photos, Britney can be seen lying on the roof of her car and throwing her arms back.
Britney also recently offered an explanation for her “rebellion” on Instagram, explaining that someone stole half of her wardrobe three years ago, leading to her showing herself on Instagram “as cheap and probably secretly angry.”
There’s also a big update about her Jon M. Chu-directed biopic: they’ve found a writer.
