The hosts of Good Morning America are opening up about attending Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s wedding.
Robin Roberts, Michael Strahan, and George Stephanopoulos all made a special appearance on the ABC morning show on Saturday (July 4) to talk about being at the wedding.
Robin said that Madison Square Garden was “unrecognizable” to sports fans “and we can confirm that yes, Stevie Nicks did perform. But it really was intimate. Wasn’t it, guys?”
George added, “As intimate as it could possibly be given it was Madison Square Garden. Really, this garden inside the garden that was just so beautiful and it was it’s hard to imagine that a place that big and a wedding with such stars could feel so personal and so intimate.”
Robin continued, “They had their neighbors, their high school friends. It was like any wedding that you would attend.”
Michael chimed in, “It was their dream wedding and it was really amazing.”
Robin also revealed, “Oh, and their vows. They wrote their own vows.” George added that they held “little books” while reciting the vows.
After leaving the wedding on Friday night, George also released a statement to ABC News.
“The ceremony was great. Moving. Adam Sandler? Funny and touching. Vows? Everything you would hope for: real, vulnerable, serious, and silly. Deeply loving. Who knew that a wedding in Madison Square Garden could be so intimate?” he said.
