Denzel Washington is over movies… well, watching them at least.
The 70-year-old two-time Oscar-winning actor has starred in dozens of movies over the years, but admittedly doesn’t know just how many.
In a new interview with his Highest 2 Lowest director Spike Lee and co-star A$AP Rocky, Denzel shared that he is tired of movies and doesn’t watch them anymore.

“Do you have any dolly shots of this guy that you admire?” A$AP asked Denzel, via GQ. (A dolly shot is a technique in moviemaking where the entire camera moves forward, backward, or sideways on a mobile apparatus called a dolly.)
“I don’t watch movies, man. I really don’t,” Denzel confessed. “I’m just being honest with you. I don’t watch movies, man. I don’t go to the movies, I don’t watch movies.”
When asked if that was because he makes movies, he replied, “Probably. I’m tired of movies.”
Denzel‘s latest confession comes after recently explaining why he is not interested in winning Oscars, after being nominated several times and winning twice.
