A major update has come in about the Nancy Guthrie case.
Nancy Guthrie was last seen alive on January 31
If you don’t know, Today show anchor Savannah Guthrie‘s mom went missing earlier this year, and she was presumed taken from her Arizona home in the middle of the night after scary surveillance images emerged.
Throughout the course of the case, there have been numerous ransom notes sent, with various claims made. TMZ has been sharing updates about messages they’ve been receiving as well.
The FBI claims none of the ransom notes in the Nancy Guthrie case are real
“None of the ransom notes are believed to be genuine,” an FBI official told Reuters.
A spokesperson for the Pima County Sheriff’s Department, added, “We don’t have any updates, other than this is still an active investigation.” DNA and evidence “remain under forensic analysis.”
By the way, if you didn’t see, Savannah recently gave a major interview where she revealed new info about the scene of the crime that had not been previously disclosed.
