Elon Musk has officially become the world’s first trillionaire.

On Friday (June 12), the 54-year-old businessman’s company SpaceX went public at a valuation of approximately $1.77 trillion, pushing the CEO’s estimated $813 billion net worth over the trillion-dollar line, CBS News reports.

Musk‘s latest financial feat comes after SpaceX’s IP was expected to set share prices at $135 each, according to Forbes.

Teams are go for launch with a $135 price per share for the SpaceX IPO,” SpaceX wrote on X, along with a link showing how would be able to buy the now-public stock.

Musk owns approximately 4.8 million shares of SpaceX common stock, or about 42% of the company, along with 350 million stock options. Those holdings are worth an estimated $688 billion.

When combined with his stakes in Tesla and other business ventures, the rise in SpaceX’s valuation pushes Musk‘s personal net worth over $1 trillion.

Musk is now worth more than twice the world’s second-richest person, Google co-founder Larry Page, who is worth an estimated $288 billion.

If SpaceX, which is trading under the ticker symbol “SPCX,” rises above $135 per share, Musk‘s wealth will climb even further, though he could fall below the trillionaire line if the stock sinks.

SpaceX was founded in 2002, and is now a major partner for NASA. It launches rockets and runs the Starlink internet service used around the world. It also owns social network X, formerly known as Twitter.

In his private life, Elon Musk partnered with several women and welcomed over a dozen children to date.
