Supriya Ganesh‘s Dr. Mohan was written out of The Pitt, and fans were shocked when it was announced that the actress would be leaving the series after two seasons.
In a new interview, the 28-year-old actress was asked why her character was not included in the third season.
She reiterated that it was a “creative decision” to keep Mohan out of season three
“They work with such intention on the show and make all the choices that they make for that reason, so I think it’s better to ask them for answers,” Supriya told the Los Angeles Times.
She did mention she was sad for fans.
“I’m going to treasure all the memories I had working with these two [Sepideh Moafi and Isa Briones] and everyone else. It’s been so great just getting all the love from the fans. I feel sad for them, too, that they won’t get to see this character.”
