The Conjuring’s Vera Farmiga & Patrick Wilson React to Matt Rife Buying Ed & Lorraine Warren’s Occult Museum, Including the Annabelle Doll | Matt Rife, Patrick Wilson, The Conjuring, Vera Farmiga | Just Jared: Celebrity News and Gossip

Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga have famously played Ed and Lorraine Warren in The Conjuring series for years.

If you don’t know, Ed and Lorraine are real-life people who made a living with the paranormal, and had a whole Occult Museum with some of their spooky findings. One such item they famously had was the Annabelle doll, which was the subject of its own film.

Well, a few weeks ago, comedian Matt Rife revealed he bought their former residence as well as the museum, and had become the legal guardian of their “haunted collection” of items (including Annabelle!)

Now, Vera and Patrick are reacting to this news.

“I’d love to pick his brain,” Vera told People. She added she’s “so curious as to what was going to happen with that piece of real estate” and what Matt‘s “intentions are.” Vera also said she saw the news that Matt had purchased the property and promptly told Patrick.

Patrick added about the property, “It’s a private little street. There are neighbors everywhere. [The Warrens] lived in the same house for a long, long time, so it’s not like some estate on a massive acreage. It’s just on a block. It’s a normal house on a street in Monroe, Connecticut.”

“So I am curious. I can’t imagine the people that live on that street want lines of cars paying money to go into the house,” he shared.

Vera then joked, “I hope he doesn’t have a garage sale.”

“That’d be funny,” Patrick responded.

And if you didn’t know, there’s another Conjuring film hitting theaters in less than 2 weeks!

The Conjuring: Last Rites hits theaters on September 5. Watch the chilling trailer!
