Hudson Williams on Criminal Minds: Evolutation?!
The Heated Rivalry star’s co-star and friend Connor Storrie is set to appear in a multi-episode arc of the show’s upcoming 19th season this summer, and the showrunner just revealed that they tried to book Hudson for a role in the next season.
Criminal Minds: Evolution was renewed for season 20 back in March.
In a new interview, showrunner Erica Messer dished that they made an attempt to have Hudson on following Connor‘s guest star role.
“Trust me, we looked [into it],” she told Us Weekly. “We were like, ‘Is he available?’”
However, she shared it didn’t work out due to scheduling conflicts.
“He’s shooting the second season of Heated Rivalry in August and that’s when we would need them,” Erica said. “We tried.”
As for Connor‘s upcoming appearance, which started out as a singular episode, but turned into a multi-episode arc, Erica teased his character plays an important role to the overall story of the season.
“Connor gets introduced in episode 4,” she shared. “His story does have something to do with the big bad of the season but — without wanting to give much away — that’s all I’ll say.”
Criminal Minds: Evolution season 19 is set to premiere THIS Thursday (May 28) with the first two episodes, followed by new episodes weekly. Connor‘s first ep is slated for June 11th. Watch the trailer!
