Fat Joe made an allegation about the Cleveland Cavaliers NBA team, who hosted the final game of the Eastern Conference Finals against the New York Knicks on Monday night (May 25).
If you don’t know, the Knicks won the series in 4-0 sweep, sending them to the finals. Many celebrity Knicks superfans, including Timothee Chalamet and girlfriend Kylie Jenner, Ben Stiller, Tracy Morgan, and more attended the game. To start the game, fans did not see any of them sitting courtside.
Fat Joe, who also made the trip to Ohio, made an allegation on the air before the game
“We had bought some courtside tickets to the game and once they found out it was superfan Fat Joe, they was like, I can’t sit courtside. New York Knick fans can’t sit courtside,” he told NBA Today. “They took the tickets away courtside after we purchased it, so shame on you all.”
The Cleveland Cavaliers responded to Fat Joe’s statement
“Playoff courtside seating is governed by a specific agreement that prohibits the resale or transfer of tickets without approval. All courtside ticket holders are required to comply with the terms of the single-game playoff agreement,” a spokesperson told the New York Post.

An insider shared the apparent scoop with the Post, who reported: “At least 10 other Knicks fans with courtside seats had been called by a Cavaliers executive and told they no longer had seats.”
