Venezuela Fury is currently enjoying a lavish honeymoon with new husband Noah Price.
The 16-year-old daughter of boxing champion Tyson Fury got married earlier this month, with full support from her parents.
Venezuela and Noah, 18, were spotted strolling along the seafront during their honeymoon on Saturday (May 23) in Marbella, Spain. At one point, they sat by the rocks to share a kiss.
Venezuela Fury’s mom Paris has defended the marriage
“Venezuela was 16 when she got engaged, I was 17 when I got engaged. Me and Tyson have been together for 20 years, and we couldn’t be any happier. Our life is great, so all I can do is hope it’s the same for her,” Paris told Metro UK. “As for people’s opinions, there’s always going to be an opinion. I don’t understand it. I don’t get it.”
Paris reiterated, “I’m sorry, but I didn’t realize she was going to end the life? I don’t get it. She’s getting married, they have plans to travel the world, do different things together, he’s doing boxing, Venezuela is doing her social media work… We don’t see the problem. If she’s happy, he’s happy, we’re happy, I don’t understand it at all. I don’t get the quotes and the things they say to me, all I can think is these people mustn’t have had very happy relationships.”
The marriage was legal where it happened
In England and Wales, the legal age to marry is 18, with no exceptions or parental consent allowed.
In the Isle of Man, people can legally marry at 16 years old, but anyone under 18 must have parental consent. Because they wed on the Isle of Man, it was legal. The Isle of Man is an island located in the middle of the northern Irish Sea.
