The state of a locker room is always a big talking point during the NFL season, and it appeared as if the New York Giants could have had an issue on their hands with a recent Jaxson Dart – Abdul Carter story.
If you don’t know, Dart, the starting quarterback for the NFL team, introduced Donald Trump at a rally this week.
Abdul Carter, a star defensive player for the team, did not seem to appreciate this decision, posting on X, “thought this sh!t was AI, what we doing man.”
Many NFL players don’t tend to talk about politics as it can create a huge distraction for the team. For example, Tom Brady faced years of questions and rumors over potential associations with Trump. Trump claimed Tom voted for him, while his wife at the time, Gisele Bundchen, said otherwise.
Hours later, Abdul actually provided an update.
He shared a new tweet that read, “Me & JD6 are good! We spoke earlier as Men. Yall can keep yall narratives.” Jaxson Dart wears the number 6 on his jersey for the Giants, indicating that is who he was referring to.
