Could we really have seen the last of Carrie Bradshaw?
The Sex and the City sequel series And Just Like That wrapped its third season on Max earlier this month, with showrunner Michael Patrick King suggesting he’s finished writing new stories for Sarah Jessica Parker’s iconic character.
But according to the show’s executive producers, the door isn’t completely closed.

“She’s alive, so it could happen,” EP Elisa Zuritsky told TVLine in a new interview, while adding that SJP continues to be the showrunner’s creative muse.
“Sarah Jessica Parker is Michael Patrick King’s muse, and the reason he says ‘I’ve said goodbye before and I’ve come back’ is because it’s true,” she said.
Fellow producer Julie Rottenberg revealed that she and Elisa still keep lists of story ideas for Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte, even though the show has officially ended.
Elisa admitted she doesn’t like to be “too final” when it comes to the series: “Life is long. We’ve all seen lots of things happen.”
For now, the story of And Just Like That seems complete, but fans of Carrie Bradshaw know better than to say never.
