New details from Britney Spears‘ police report have been revealed following her arrest in March for DUI, after which she pled guilty to a reduced charge.
A police report obtained by Us Weekly reveals that the 44-year-old “Toxic” pop singer was pulled over on March 4 after 9 p.m. PT by officers due to a caller observing someone “traveling at high speeds and swerving,” followed by officers observing her car illegally crossing into another lane by “approximately” two feet multiple times.
The Police Report Claims There Was an ‘Odor’ of Alcohol in the Car
“[The subject] continued to drive in the #2 lane and did not immediately react to my emergency lights. I activated the [police car’s] siren to get the driver’s attention,” the police officer noted in the report.
She was eventually pulled over, and was wearing a “worn” green striped dress and purple sandals, and the police officer detected a “distinct odor of an alcoholic beverage” from inside the car.
Britney reportedly only admitted to having one champagne mimosa seven hours earlier, and said her last meal was ice cream at 3 p.m. that day.
Britney Detailed Multiple Prescription Drugs She’d Taken
“I could probably drink four bottles of wine and take care of you. I’m an angel,” she allegedly said, while also confirming she took multiple prescription drugs that day, including “200mg of anticonvulsant and mood stabilizer Lamictal, 40mg of antidepressant Prozac and 2.5 mg of ADHD medication Adderall,” per the report.
“[An officer] located a brown purse that contained a bottle of pills labeled ‘Adderall,’ which were not prescribed to Spears. [The officer] also observed an empty wine glass in the cup holder between the front driver seat and passenger seat,” the report reads.
The report also claims Britney had “red and watery” eyes with her pupils dilated, and claimed to be a “zero” on a sobriety scale of zero to 10. She also reportedly passed two chemical breath tests once she was taken to the local police precinct.
Britney Did Not Want to Exit Her Car Initially
“I instructed Spears to exit the [car], but she initially refused. Spears related she had been pranked and harassed in the past and did not want to exit,” the report also claims, saying Britney “wanted to speak to her lawyer and had the right as a woman not to exit her vehicle.”
She allegedly agreed to get out of the car after 10 minutes.
“I detected the distinct odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from her breath and person. Her speech was rapid and slurred, her gait was unsteady, and she was fidgeting with her fingers,” the officer also noted, claiming she had “drastic mood swings” and spoke in a British accent at times, going from “confrontational and agitated to flamboyant.”

A representative for the singer recently released a statement on a story circulating from her dinner a few days ago, amid claims she was “raising her voice, screaming, and even barking at times.”
After she was arrested in March, Britney‘s rep released a statement saying that she would be seeking help and it was later revealed that she voluntarily checked herself into rehab.
She just pleaded guilty to a reduced charge after the DUI arrest.
