Tonight is the night: the 2026 Met Gala is set to kick off in a few hours and many are wondering who will be on the guest list.
The annual event, often dubbed Fashion’s Biggest Night, is held on the first Monday in May, and it’s always packed with tons of A-list stars. However, each and every year, there are some notable names skipping the event…and this year is no exception.
By the way, the dress code is “Fashion is Art” for the 2026 affair. We previously learned that the theme this year is “Costume Art,” the spring exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute. It’s dedicated to “the centrality of the dressed body in the museum’s vast collection.”
