Sydney Sweeney is being praised for her professionalism.
Paul Feig, director of the upcoming movie adaptation of The Housemaid, spoke about working with Sydney amid her split from Jonathan Davino.
The Housemaid is a film adaptation of a novel by the same name and it was filmed early in 2025. Sydney plays the role of the titular maid in the film and was spotted without her engagement ring around the time of filming and confirmed their breakup months later.

According to Paul, Sydney remained professional and never brought her personal life to set as she was going through her breakup from Jonathan.
“She was completely present emotionally, just up for anything, and really didn’t bring any issues to set,” Paul told the Wall Street Journal recently.
“And I know she was going through some things when this was going on—I mean, now everybody knows about her engagement falling apart and breaking off and all that,” the director added. He went on to say that Sydney always kept things short and sweet when asked about if everything was alright, declining to bring her personal life to work.
