Katya Zamolodchikova has been hospitalized.
On Wednesday (April 29), the 44-year-old drag queen, whose real name is Brian McCook, took to X to share a photo while laying in a hospital bed connected to various tubes and wires.
“Girl I’m in body jail,” Katya wrote along with the hashtag, “Hell on Earth.”
In a follow-up tweet, Katya wrote, “Everyone gets sick. (Almost) everybody gets old. And every one dies.”
As of right now, Katya has not disclosed why she has been hospitalized. Katya‘s hospitalization came just days before her birthday, which is May 1.
After sharing the tweets, many fans reacted and sent their well wishes.
“You’re not allowed to do that last one just yet diva,” one fan wrote, as another tweeted, “Please let us know you’re okay we love youuuuuu.”
Katya is best known for placing fifth on the seventh season of RuPaul’s Drag Race and was the runner-up on the second season of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars. She currently hosts two podcasts, one with fellow Drag Race star and close friend Trixie Mattel.
