Kim Petras is claiming her newly-launched fan chatroom was hacked after she appeared to diss Nicki Minaj.
Kim, 33, is the Grammy-winning singer-songwriter behind hit song “Unholy.” She and Nicki previously collaborated on the song “Alone” from Kim‘s Feed the Beast album.
With her new album Detour coming out soon, she introduced a website chatroom to interact with fans.
According to People, she wrote, “detour coming to outstream alone. we need to remove the song with that beast of a lady from my [discography] what y’all think.”
Fans believed she was calling the “Pink Friday” rapper out for her past comments on transgender children. Kim herself is trans.
But a rep for Kim shared the following statement with People.
“Kim Petras launched a new chat feature on her website yesterday where her name was meant to be user-protected, however earlier today someone other than Kim was able to use the name and type things without her knowledge or approval,” the rep claimed. “Kim has been in Miami working today, and has not yet had the opportunity to log in and personally engage with fans on the website. The chat feature has since been disabled and removed from the website until the issue gets resolved.”
In early April, a man was arrested for trespassing at Nicki‘s home.
