Drake Maye is speaking out with support for his New England Patriots head coach, Mike Vrabel.
The 23-year-old quarterback opened up this week while speaking to the press at the Patriots’ training facility, marking the first time he’s spoken publicly about Vrabel‘s scandal.
For those who don’t know, Vrabel has been under fire for the past few weeks after photos emerged of him looking close with NFL reporter Dianna Russini, now in multiple occasions.
Drake and the rest of the team are nothing but supportive of Vrabel during this difficult time.
“We’re here for coach. We love coach, what he does for us, what he’s done for us this past year — you can’t speak into words,” Drake told 7News (via NBC Sports). “Just thankful he’s our head coach. I know he’s dealing with some stuff off the field and out of the coaching world, we’re here for him. And I know he’s going to come back.”
In case you missed it, Drake is currently sporting a much different look after he shaved his head for a charity event.
A source just opened up about what’s going on between Vrabel and his wife amid all of the headlines.
