Hudson Williams is heading to AMC+!
Following an intense bidding war, Deadline announced on Wednesday (April 29) that the AMC platform won the exclusive U.S. streaming rights to Crave’s upcoming series Yaga, starring the 25-year-old actor in his first role following the breakout success of the global phenomenon Heated Rivalry.
The eight-episode series also stars The Matrix‘s Carrie-Anne Moss, Schitt’s Creek‘s Noah Reid, and Letterkenney‘s Clark Backo.
Based on the play by Kat Sandler, who serves as writer and showrunner, Yaga centers on the “myth of Baba Yaga, a female character from Slavic folklore who is depicted as a witch.”
In the series, Hudson will play “Henry Park in Yaga, the young heir to a powerful fishery. Rapp (Reid), a private investigator, is probing his disapperance and finds himself at odds with an apprehensive local detective, Carson (Backo), a charismatic university professor with a taste for younger men, Katherine (Moss), and a labyrinth of enigmatic suspects, secret lives, and ancient magic.”

Yaga is expected to premiere later this year.
It was also just announced that Hudson Williams has joined the star-studded cast of the upcoming movie Tyrant.
