Tan France, is that really you?!
On Wednesday (April 29), the 43-year-old Queer Eye star took to Instagram to reveal that he has ditched his silver hair for a shockingly darker ‘do.
“Don’t freak out. I know my hair’s dark. It’s fine, Well, no, it’s not,” Tan began as he showed off his new near-black hair color. “I know it’s very weird to see me with dark hair. It’s weird to see myself with dark hair.”
Tan went on to say that he wasn’t planning on showing off his new hair color on social media, but only decided to go public with the look after several run-ins with fans. As he insisted that he’s not going through a “midlife crisis,” Tan said that he actually dyed his hair for a new acting role.
“I wasn’t going to share this at all, but I’ve been out twice in the last couple days, and people are very confused,” he shared. “So I just need to make it clear, this is not a midlife crisis.”
Tan also said that as soon as production on the undisclosed project ends, he’s ditching the dark hair.
“I’m gonna go right back — hopefully — to my natural color in the next month or two,” he promised. “Don’t freak out.”
While Tan didn’t reveal what project he’s working on, it was previously announced that he will be appearing in the new holiday comedy film Clashing Through The Snow alongside Christopher Briney, Michelle Randolph, Julia Fox, and Lukas Gage.
