Lil Nas X was arrested earlier this week after a late night incident in Los Angeles and we just learned he’s going to be in jail through at least Monday.
The 26-year-old “Old Town Road” rapper was discovered walking down Ventura Blvd in Studio City in the early hours of Thursday (August 21) wearing just his underwear and a pair of cowboy boots.
Authorities were called and Lil Nas X was brought to the hospital for treatment because of a suspected overdose. He allegedly charged at officers when they arrived and he was arrested for battery on a police officer. The rapper is now being held at a jail in Van Nuys, another neighborhood in the valley.

Lil Nas X is currently being held without bail and he still has to go before a judge to have his bail set. TMZ reports that there are “plenty of others” waiting to have their bail set before him and he won’t get to cut in line.
In many situations, people will be issued a citation and released from jail, but Nas is forced to appear before a judge because of the violent charge. He won’t be able to see a judge until Monday at the earliest.
Back in April, Lil Nas X was hospitalized for a medical issue.
