Attorney General Pam Bondi is reportedly being replaced in her position.
CNN is reporting that Donald Trump has ousted her from the role and she will apparently be replaced in the Justice Department by Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche.
He apparently had a “tough” conversation with her on Wednesday (April 1) where he indicated she would be replaced soon enough. Curiously, on Wednesday, Trump released the following statement amid reports that she could be replaced: “Attorney General Pam Bondi is a wonderful person and she is doing a good job.”

Apparently, she was told she would get a different job and that would be revealed at some point. It’s unclear what role she could hold, but apparently, a judge position could be on the table.
So, why was she replaced? CNN is reporting a few things that have “frustrated” the 79-year-old POTUS. He was apparently “upset over her handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files, and he has also fumed that she has not investigated or prosecuted enough of his political opponents.”
This is the second major White House role replacement in a few weeks.
