Fiona Dourif is addressing the fate of Chucky.
The 44-year-old The Pitt actress, who is also the real-life daughter of the voice of Chucky (Brad Dourif), spoke out about the Child’s Play franchise in a new interview.
Fiona plays Nica Pierce in the Don Mancini-created series. She acted as the protagonist in 2013′s Curse of Chucky and 2017′s Cult of Chucky, and appeared in all three seasons of the Chucky television series, which was canceled after three seasons in 2024.

While speaking with Perri Nemiroff on Collider Ladies Night, Fiona opened up about the franchise, and whether she’d like to appear again.
“God, I hope. I hope to get a seat at the table….let me be involved in the Child’s Play franchise for the rest of my long life. I have so much fun shooting that,” she said.
“Every time I think about being sad that the series came to an end, I remind myself this is the unkillable horror franchise. It is never going anywhere, and I know it,” Perri noted.
“And you know what? I know it also, dot dot dot…” Fiona teased.
“I think the cool thing about Nica is she has had everything in the world taken away from her. For people who don’t know, Nica was the lead of two of the movies and then a recurring character in the television show. She’s in a wheelchair. Chucky made her paraplegic when she was in her mother’s womb. Then he killed her whole family. He put her in jail. She was in a psychiatric ward. She’s been possessed by Chucky. She was kidnapped by Jennifer Tilly. Nothing good has ever happened to her. But she’s not a victim, which is very cool. She’s like a sexualized, smart, gritty final girl.” Watch above.
