Luka Dončić is accusing his ex-fiancée Anamaria Goltes of gaming the system to make more money from child support.
The 27-year-old Los Angeles Lakers player has filed a motion to dismiss Anamaria‘s petition for child support, claiming she is intentionally filing for it in the wrong location to receive larger sums.
In documents obtained by People, Luka alleges that her petition is invalid since he, Anamaria, and their two kids Gabriela, 2, and Olivia, 3 months, are not California residents.

He says he filed an action in their home country of Slovenia and Anamaria is aware of this, but went ahead and filed in California “to avail herself of the generous amounts of child support for which California is well-known.”
“Luka has always provided for anything his daughters could need or want and will continue to do so. He will always fight to be with his daughters and give them the best life possible,” his spokesperson told the outlet on Tuesday. “Luka is seeking dismissal of this case simply because Slovenia, not California, is the appropriate forum for adjudication of this dispute.”
Luka confirmed his split from Anamaria earlier this month. They started dating in 2016 and became engaged in 2023. The breakup came just 3 months after they welcomed their second daughter.
