Here’s a synopsis, via Variety: Dancing With the Stars: The Next Pro “will feature up-and-coming professional dancers who will live in a house together and compete in a grueling audition process. The winner will land a coveted spot as a pro dancer on the next season of Dancing With the Stars.”
It’s expected to air this summer on ABC and Hulu, and the latest winner Robert Irwin is in talks to host.
Dancing With the Stars three time winner Mark Ballas is “being eyed” to judge, as is his professional ballroom dancer mother, Shirley Ballas, who has judged BBC One’s Strictly Come Dancing since 2017. There would also be a “rotating mentor or pro” weekly.
The first ever Dancing with the Stars fan convention is coming this summer, and lots of your favorite DWTS fan faves will be participating!
