Sir Ian McKellen potentially just spoiled a big moment from Avengers: Doomsday.
The 86-year-old actor is returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe to play his X-Men character Magneto in the highly-anticipated new film, and during a recent interview, he said something about his character destroying New Jersey.

“The first film, I remember the camera behind me, my hands raised up and as they did that two motorcars, police cars in front of me were raised up by cranes,” Ian said, recalling his time playing Magneto in the X-Men movies to journalist Jake Hamilton. “And when I signaled by dropped my hands, the cars dropped. These were not special effects.”
“Nowadays, I think these will become a little bit easier — though I did destroy New Jersey the other day,” he said.
Immediately after saying that, Ian added, “Oooh, I perhaps shouldn’t have said that.”
