Chad Ollinger made headlines days ago when it was revealed that he killed his cellmate.
The 41-year-old Discovery star, who appeared in dozens of Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch episodes, had been in jail in Las Vegas as a fugitive from another state in which was facing a contempt of court charge.

Chad allegedly told police that he strangled his cellmate Christopher Kelly and smashed his face into a metal post at Clark County Detention Center because he felt the man was a pedophile, based on reading his mind.
He claimed to police that he has a supernatural power to read people and know things about them, per the police report via TMZ.
There was no apparent evidence of his cellmate being a pedophile, nor is it publicly known why his cellmate had been incarcerated, but he said “if I know something about somebody that’s bad, I take care of it.”
He reportedly went up to the top bunk and placed the man in a chokehold before dragging him and smashing his head into a metal bedframe to make sure he was dead.
Chad reportedly went before a judge Tuesday (December 30), who requested a mental evaluation before the case moves ahead.
He allegedly said he had no remorse or care about his sentencing, telling detectives upon discovering the scene: “Good luck cracking the case.”
“Chad Ollinger is the son of Blind Frog Ranch owner, Duane Ollinger,” his Discovery profile reads.
“He is married with four children and sold his crop-dusting business and family home to help fund this year’s operation. Duane describes his son by saying ‘he doesn’t have an ounce of quit in him,’ and if someone needs to SCUBA dive into an unknown cavern system 50 feet beneath the ground, it’s going to be Chad.”
Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch has been on the air since 2021.
Here’s a synopsis: “There are some places on earth where the land just seems different, and Blind Frog Ranch in eastern Utah is one of those places. Locals say the land is cursed. That it’s trying to hold on to something.”
