Don’t expect to see Daniel Stern at any anniversary events for his movie Home Alone.
The 68-year-old For All Mankind actor starred in the first two movies as one of the burglars, Marv, who targets the McCallisters’ home.
While the movie is celebrating it’s 35th anniversary, Daniel won’t be stepping out any events celebrating the film in person, and he’s revealing the reason why.

“I don’t leave my farm,” he told People. “It’s no offense to the movie. I’m just … a phone call, Zoom call, I’m in. but… I’m a bit of a homebody.”
Daniel now lives on a farm where he tends to works as a sculptor, while his wife tends to their cattle and citrus trees.
The actor is happy to see the success of the movie, but noted the attention on him personally was a bit much.
“I love knowing that everybody loves it but, like, actual people come at me and say, ‘We love it.’ It’s a little overwhelming sometimes,” Daniel says.
If you didn’t know, his co-star Macaulay Culkin has been touring the US for screenings and talking about the movie.
In case you missed it, at a recent event, Macaulay revealed he has an idea to reprise his role as Kevin McAllister for a new Home Alone movie over 30 years later.
