Serena Williams is not coming back to tennis.
The 44-year-old legendary player was rumored to be preparing for a comeback to the sport after a report claimed she had requested to re-enter the International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA)’s International Registered Testing Pool.
All tennis players are required to go through drug testing, so fans assumed she was getting ready to return to the sport.
Well, Serena is shutting that down.

Fans are still questioning why Serena requested to enter the testing pool again, three years after playing her final match.
ITIA spokesperson Adrian Bassett told The Atlantic, “She has notified us that she wants to be reinstated into the testing pool. I do not know if this means she is coming back, or just giving herself the option. All I can say is she’s back in the pool and therefore subject to whereabouts.”
Serena was recently called out by a celeb for promoting weight loss drugs.
