Chase Sui Wonders is the latest star to join the cast of the upcoming Buffy the Vampire Slayer reboot series.
On Monday (August 11), it was announced that the 29-year-old actress – best known for her roles in The Studio, Bodies Bodies Bodies, and Bupkis – will be appearing in the upcoming reboot series led by Ryan Kiera Armstrong.
Keep reading to find out more…Chase will be playing the character of Shirley, who is believed to be a vampire, according to Deadline. She will be appearing in one-off guest starring role in the pilot being directed by Oscar-winning filmmaker Chloé Zhao.
The show will mark a reunion for Chase and original Buffy star Sarah Michelle Gellar, who just recently appeared together in the new I Know What You Did Last Summer movie.
The upcoming Buffy reboot will focus on Ryan‘s character, a new slayer, and Sarah‘s Buffy will have a recurring role!
