The actor was one of 18 Hallmark Channel actors who sailed from Miami to Cozumel with 4,000 fans last week on a four-day adventure, November 7-10.
When the ship docked in Mexico for the one-day stop, two actors ended up leaving the cruise due to a family emergency.

Cruise co-host Nikki DeLoach told fans on the boat during the Saturday night variety show that Paul Campbell had “a very sad family emergency and he’s on his way to Fort McMurray, Alberta and because we don’t let friends do things alone, we asked that his best friend and writing partner, Kimberley Sustad, go with him.”

Nikki led the cruise in a group prayer to send strength to Paul during this difficult time.
On Sunday, Paul and Kimberley were supposed to participate in some events with Tyler. When he walked on stage, he asked fans to boo him and chant Paul and Kim‘s names so he could send them a video of the moment.

Before leaving the cruise, Paul and Kim did get to attend the premiere of their new movie Three Wisest Men, which cruise-goers saw before the Hallmark Channel debut on Saturday, November 15.
