The fifth season began filming in January 2024 and wrapped at the end of December 2024 following a full year of production. Netflix will finally release new episodes later this month.

“Millie Bobby Brown filed a harassment and bullying claim before they started shooting the last season. There were pages and pages of accusations. The investigation went on for months,” an insider told the outlet.

The complaints were not of a sexual nature, according to the report.

An investigation took place, but it’s unclear what resulted from it. While the complaints were likely filed two years ago, the report comes just days after David‘s ex-wife Lily Allen dropped a new album that includes many accusations about him.

David plays Jim Hopper, the father figure of Millie‘s character Eleven / Jane Hopper. They had reunited right at the end of season four, so it’s assumed that they’ll be sharing scenes in the final season.

The epic trailer for the final season was just released online ahead of the November 26 premiere.

We’ve reached out to Netflix for comment on the the report and will update if we hear back.
